active directory - AD Domain question -

The user properties dialog box has a field in the Active Directory and Account tab. The first text box at the top left is "User Login Name", on the right side is a dropdown with @ domain.local. Does anybody know what value or value should be given when creating a user program?

This is userPrincipalName (UPN). sAMAccountName and add @ domain.local. If you use your dsadd user command, you need to specify the -upn parameter for it.
