architecture - Your thoughts on "Large Scale C++ Software Design" -
Reading and suggesting that John Lacos' book, large scale C ++ software design Maybe Rosetta Stone for modulation
At the same time, the book is really rare: many have never read it, and no pirate electronic copies float around.
What do you think?
I have read it, and it has something to do with big C ++ projects Consider a very useful book on practical issues. If you have already read a lot about C ++, and know a bit about the physical design and its implications, then you will not find much "new" in this book.
On the other hand, if your build takes 4 hours, and you do not know how to press it, get a copy, read it and take it all in.
You will start writing code better physically. / P>
[edit] If you want to start from anywhere, and can not grab the book immediately, then I found it useful even after reading the large scale C ++ design.
