user interface - BlackBerry:Built-in Date Picker API? -

In my application screen, I am an area where the user can choose his DateOfBirth. I want to popup any underlying "date" calendar or some underlying date picker to the user so that it looks professional. As I am new to this development, I wanted to know that any code sample is available to pop the underlying date picker? Note: After selecting this in my current constant storage I want to store the user's selectable date.

I'm interested in implementing something but I'm not sure it would be possible and would like to take it on. This is my scenario: I will have two verification cells, which will be shown as a list, from which I will select. This is my condition that I want to remember and remember my list from a database.
