python - Using Google App Engine to display a Rss/Atom feed -

I think of setting a Google app that only displays an RSS or Atom feed I am thinking that the feed is read once every time (at the push of a cron job or magic button) and ready to be seen in internal data, which is ready to see. It will be done in Python.

I get a page telling me what I have to do. But she is considering assuming using some other Google products because it relies on Google API.

I think there is something more that connects some new material, it is hosted on my machine locally, Google App Administrative panel, pushed a button and mine (locally hosted Done) Read the feed and copied .

My questions are now:

  • Is the RSS (or Atom, a sufficient) format adequately assigned to handle / edit / delete? is?
  • Is there any flavor or should I be worried about it?
  • Is this done before? Will save me some work

Using an option library, which is the focus of most of these problems for you Another option would be to use a PubBubub-powered service, which will give you an update in your pre-syndicated form, destroying most of your polling and parsing issues.
