Correct way to write console applications on GNU/Linux with C++ -

I really like the console and recently used in conjunction with the C programming language, it is used primarily on programming console applications using nCurses.

Unfortunately I think the ncurses API is totally vigorous and very difficult to use, and C + bindings are inappropriate.

So my question is, the API to use for C ++ console applications?

Maybe you want better?

This is my scenario: I will have two verification cells, which will be shown as a list, from which I will select. This is my condition that I want to remember and remember my list from a database.
